We're looking for a Procurement Intern to join our Mechanical & Outsourcing Commodity team in Monterrey Apodaca Plant.
As a Procurement Intern, you'll be responsible for supporting the procurement team, driving improvements while learning about different roles in the procurement organization. More about the roleERFQs/ Benchmarking Current supplier databaseNegotiation with suppliers on Lead time & MOQsFollow up with saving projectsParticipate in different programs such as should cost to guarantee most efficient cost models in the industrySupport New Product introduction launches and business case creation while comparing different supply chain modelsMore about youCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or master's in supply chain management/Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline (6th-7th semester).
Able to complete required hours of internship.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with innovation & creativity.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
).
SAP knowledge is a plus.
