Learn more at www.averydennison.com.JOB DESCRIPTIONABOUT YOUR ROLEThe procurement lead is responsible for leading procurement efforts to efficiently and effectively enable spend owners such as business unit and functional partners to maximize the value they receive from suppliers to meet their objectives. Work with each business unit to lead centralized sourcing and procurement efforts. This includes working with internal stakeholders from initial need identification to final goods or service delivery to meet stakeholder needs.The process starts with demand management that then drives supply analysis/strategy, supplier identification, sourcing execution, contract negotiation, delivery planning and monitoring, purchase execution, and ongoing performance management and improvement. Deliver cost savings opportunities to the organization, and assist in developing commodity strategy.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:Creation and management of short, mid, and long-term goals and objectives for all categories.Creation and improvement of best practice-based processes.Management of procurement process-related activities.Identification and realization of cost-saving and cost reduction opportunities.Management of procurement systems.Management of procurement staff in and across sourcing, contracting, transactional purchasing, supplier management, and miscellaneous internal procurement support activities.Analyze categories spend.Manage and monitor supplier performance, addressing issues with suppliers as necessary.Develop and maintain supplier pool.Analyze and understand the cost drivers associated with each category/supplier.Benchmark current products across suppliers and identify consolidation opportunities.Support on related projects if required.WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:5-7 years' experience in procurement.Strong leadership skills.Team player at executive levels to collaborate with business units and functional partners.In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices.Strong negotiation skills for large commercial deals.Experience with modern sourcing and procurement systems.Strategic mindset and problem-solving skills.Full bilingual in English and Chinese with good communication skills.
