About the role
This position will develop and implement a sourcing strategy for Consulting Services in support of Carrier's long-term strategy, including improving efficiency, reducing risk, and increasing value.
Key Responsibilities: This spend is highly complex in nature and requires a close collaboration with key stakeholders at every level of the organization to execute. This individual will provide end-to-end category leadership such as strategy development, creating consulting programs, maintaining key relationships within the business, and managing key supplier relationships.Provide strategic leadership and category oversight to include sourcing strategy execution, negotiations, contract implementation and performance against established targetsManage supplier relationships, communicate changes to category strategy, execute joint collaborative initiatives, and monitor supplier contract negotiationsDevelop Consulting preferred supplier programOperational and spend analysis, development and execution of annual sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, supplier performance management & operational support.Build and maintain relationships throughout every level of the organization, that results in dynamic interactive dialogue on a broad range of perspectives and information critical to identify sourcing needs and leading to the development of optimal approaches and solutionsDevelop deep supplier relationships with strategic suppliers to include data review and analysis, performance management and development and improvement of end to end value, and bring innovation to the businessIdentifies business demand requirements and partners with Business Units to deliver annual value improvements and drives competitive advantageResponsible for overall relationship with multiple strategic accounts across a given category.Leads sourcing process from RFQ to contract signatureEnsures supplier or commodity is performing to the designed requirements from delivery, quality and cost perspective through established governance programsIdentify, develop and direct the implementation of supply chain goals and category strategies, based on deep subject matter expertise and an understanding of industry/market dynamicsEscalate issues that may impact the supply chain organization and effectively manages issuesStrong project management capabilities to support effective initiative, program and spend trackingCommitted to supporting supplier diversity and other important supply chain initiativesRequirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on contingent labor or workforce management.Experience in developing and implementing sourcing strategies for contingent labor, including utilizing Field Glass programs (MXP Service Provider) and collaborating with internal stakeholders across the entire corporation for intake processes.Experience in leading the transition towards global centralization of contingent labor procurement.Proven track record of overseeing contracts for contingent employees, negotiating best pricing, and conducting cost analysis to identify potential savings.Experience in the full procurement lifecycle for contingent labor, including inception, supplier selection, analysis, and target setting for assigned roles.Benefits Have peace of mind and body with our health insuranceDrive forward your career through professional development opportunitiesOur commitment to you
