In your role of Direct Procurement Manager, reporting to the Americas Procurement Direction, you will be responsible for leading and supporting procurement direct supplies, with key focus on cost, quality, and service. Collaboration closely with business partners at the senior level to define priorities, establish strategic and tactical objectives, and support the development of a roadmap ensuring accurate alignment of requirements and supply base. Your main responsibilities include: Support in the implementation of the defined sourcing strategy and preferred suppliers. Manage supplier performance through performance metrics and structured service level reviews, ensure professional contract execution and adherence to contractual terms and conditions. Collaborate with internal partners and use these relationships to support the implementation of category strategies, pipeline items and short/medium/long-term goals to support the ongoing delivery of value pipeline. Apply appropriate competitive cost and process benchmarks, financial analysis, and risk management techniques to solve complex issues. Communicate in a professional and effective way with internal and external stakeholders (senior management and cross functional teams) to ensure the necessary buy-in for the sourcing projects. Register the projects pipeline in the appropriate sourcing tools and provide regular reporting as to their status and expected benefits. Drive effective Supplier Relationship Management with key suppliers and monitor performance. Lead and support the supplier selection, risk assessment and contract negotiation process for key projects as assigned by the supervisor. Experience with international suppliers (China, India, Europe, America) and with supplies such as steel. Impulse the innovation by using the supplier base, and regularly reviewing market developments. Develop hard and soft skills in your procurement team. As our ideal candidate, you hold a Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering or related areas required, with 5 or more years at the Procurement manager level (multinational organizations a plus), as well as Good knowledge of SAP. Your knowledge of materials, project management, negotiation skills, proactivity, focus on objectives, flexibility and customer focus complete your profile. Your English written and oral communication skills should be excellent.
