Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.**:This role involves heading up a team of procurement and logistics specialists in the ABB Nema Motors, S.A. de C.V. in Tlajomulco de Zuñiga; Mexico, implementing effective sourcing strategies to ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements. You will drive excellence in the execution of purchasing and logistics strategies that aid the business by optimizing costs, quality and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.**Your responsibilities**:- Utilizing the Pro-Supply global supplier relationship management platform, disseminating supplier information and finding existing high-performing suppliers to ABB.- Heading the planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost, budgets, emerging country spending and savings forecasts.- Overseeing buying activities to ensure that buyers minimize risk by buying in accordance with procedures and ABB guidelines.- Leveraging CIPS category teams locally, regionally and globally to ensure appropriate supplier selection.- Monitoring internal and supplier performance, quality and development actions while resolving issues related to costs, quality and delivery.- Ensuring (with help from HR) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed while guiding, motivating and developing less experienced colleagues in line with succession planning.**Your background**:- Bachelor´s Degree in Completed.- Minimum 5 years' managerial experience in manufacturing required.- Solid knowledge of supply chain, procurement and inventory management.- Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management and ability to independently resolve complex problems.- Ability to present reports, projects and results also in a critical situation.- Knowledge in Budget & Performance Management- Experience in Data Anlaysis & Reporting, Customer Satisfaction and Order Handling & Fullfillment.- Supplier Relationship Management.- Working knowledge of SAP preferred and Tools Microsoft 365.- Lean Flex Flow certification and BUS experience is a plus.- Availability to travel (5% international).- Advanced level of English and Spanish (fluent).**More about us**:
