Key ResponsibilitiesLead the purchasing team in validating purchasing requirements to qualify suppliersOnboard suppliers and execute supplier master file managementOversee catalog enablement within procurement systemsEnsure contracts are effectively enabled for purchasing and invoicingTransactional ProcurementMonitor the generation of procurement reports to examine transactions for discrepancies and noncompliance issues to support monthly reportingMonitor and manage procurement transactions in coordination with all buyersMonitor for the correct and compliant use of procurement systems, working with the Buyer Team Leaders to develop, monitor, and improve the functions reporting and operating capabilitiesPurchasing Transactions ManagementMonitor and maintain effective requisition and purchase order processingReview and approve spot buy execution within the spot buy teamTeam Development & SupervisionCreate an effective work environment by developing a common vision, communicating clear objectives, fostering teamwork, recognizing performance, and providing coachingEnsure funding & approvals for employee training based on program requirements and continuous people developmentIdentify opportunities to involve others in new and challenging work assignments and/or rotations that advance the skills and capabilities of individuals and the organizationManage resources and people processes (e.G., Performance Management, Career Development, Training, Staffing, etc.) to ensure the day-to-day administration of processesConduct performance evaluations in a consistent, fair, and objective manner to encourage continuous performance improvementMake salary and bonus recommendations based on employee feedback & performanceSupport HR with talent selection, retention, and development to maintain appropriate staffing for Emerson procurementMinimum RequirementsEducationSkills and ExperienceRequirement: 5+ years of experience within procurementPreference: 7+ years of experience within procurementRequirement: 3+ years of experience in supervisory rolesPreference: 5+ years of experience in supervisory roles#J-18808-Ljbffr
