Plant 1.As the Procurement Planner at Marelli, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the purchasing and planning activities to ensure a steady supply of materials and products necessary for company operations. This role requires analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams.Your Responsibilities will be:Demand Forecasting: Analyze sales trends, market changes, and historical data to accurately predict future purchasing needs.Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and resolve any supply issues.Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to manage stock effectively, minimizing overstock and stockouts.Purchase Order Management: Create, process, and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with contractual agreements.Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements without compromising quality.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Sales, Operations, and Finance to align procurement strategies with company goals.Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks in the supply chain through strategic planning and contingency measures.Compliance: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, including KPIs and budget analysis.What Qualifications you will bring:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.Other skills that we would welcome:Certification in supply chain or procurement (e.G., CPSM, CPIM).Experience in the automotive industry
