Are you a proactive professional with service orientation and procurement experience?
If so, you can be our **Procurement Project Leader**.
You will report to the Procurement Senior Manager, being in charge of the execution of category strategy and projects focused in the accomplishment of our global procurement strategy.
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Execute and support the coordination of procurement activities.
- Drive and/or participate in cross-functional project teams to execute cost-down activities/projects locally and regionally.
- Secure year over year cost improvements with suppliers within responsibility, as well as monitor price development based on market trends.
- Use tools for project management and procurement related tasks.
- Support operations in escalation to suppliers to secure material availability, quality cases and Customer Specific requirements for new business and product development.
- Responsible for specification validation with stakeholders while running projects.
- Responsible to secure that all approval documentation is in place within procurement driven projects through all milestones.
- Support on R&D projects between M1 and up to M5.
- Start and follow up on prototypes and customer design changes.
**Background & Skills**:
- B.A.
in Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement related experience from a manufacturing industry environment
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong project management skills and experience in leading and participating in project teams in an internal complex environment.
- Expert analytic and systematic skills.
- Continuous improvement experience.
- Experience in having the "Customer in focus".
- Basic ability to understand product drawings and specifications
