.As we create a colorful, capable and cleaner world through chemistry, we invite you to join our team to harness the power of chemistry to shape markets, redefine industries and improve lives for billions of people around the world.The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:- Manage the equipment, material and services RFX process in support of Major Capital Projects- Coordinate with the RFX team to ensure technology platforms are implemented to streamline processes- Implements measurement systems that clearly indicate the performance level of the Capital team and supplier effectiveness regarding purchase order execution, purchase order confirmation, drawing/specification approvals, product delivery and accounts payable reconciliation.- Supports the Capital RFX team for all Major Capital Project in US, Asia and Europe- Support execution of, and drive strategies, for guideline capital project purchases- Maintains excellent working relationships with internal customers and other supporting organizations.- Maintains and fosters continuous improvement initiatives with key business and manufacturing partners and key supplier contacts.
Lead and support Capital improvement initiatives to foster more effective and efficient processes.- Works closely with cross functional teams- Function as one of the key RFX interface with internal project teams and third-party providers in support of all Chemours Complex Major Capital Projects.- Report key project metrics to Procurement Leadership on a regular basis.- Manage updates to the capital procurement proceduresThe following is _preferred_ for this role:- Bachelor's degree required - Business or Technical degree preferred.- 5+ years' experience required in procurement- Willing to adhere to all Chemours Core Values.- Strong problem solving, analytical and strategic development skills.- Ability to action complex RFX with suppliers and contractors.- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.- Ability to drive operational excellence and deliver results.- Strong organization and management abilities- Ability to effectively interact with and influence people at all levels and varied cultures within and outside of Chemours- Strong MS Excel skills.
