**World renowned Cellular Performance Institute looking for a procurement specialist**
The Cellular Performance Institute, located in Playas de Tijuana, is looking for a procurement specialist responsible for managing the procurement process for hospital and laboratory supplies, equipment, and services. This role ensures that all purchases are made in a cost-effective, timely, and compliant manner while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
We are considered by many to be the world's premiere facility for stem cell treatments and manufacturing. Our weekly stream of clientele include professional athletes from the UFC, NFL, MLB and more.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in procurement, with a significant portion in a healthcare or laboratory setting.
- In-depth knowledge of hospital and laboratory supplies, equipment, and services.
- Negotiation and strategic sourcing capabilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- 100% bilingual, both written and spoken.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies to support the hospital and laboratory's operational goals.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier consolidation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors, fostering collaboration and partnership.
- Conduct rigorous supplier evaluations, performance reviews, and risk assessments.
- Oversee procurement budgets, ensuring financial targets and cost-saving goals are met.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to hospital policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Implement and monitor compliance programs to mitigate procurement risks.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and records to support audits and regulatory inspections.
- Work closely with clinical, laboratory, and administrative departments to understand their procurement needs and priorities.
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve issues and ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Lead initiatives to streamline procurement processes, reduce lead times, and improve service levels.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
- Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production timelines, etc.
- Provide consultation on planning (schedules, labor needs, etc.).
**Schedule**:
- Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm
**Salary**:
- $31,081.20 MXN monthly
