You will be mainly accountable for: To optimize costs throughout the procurement process including negotiating favorable terms with suppliers and implementing cost-saving initiatives. The goal is to reduce costs while maintaining the desired quality and service levels. To ensure timely deliveries and quality trough an effective supplier selection, performance evaluation, and collaborative engagement. To collaborate with strategic suppliers to improve their capabilities and capacities. It involves providing technical assistance, training, and resources to the suppliers. The goal of supplier development is to help the suppliers achieve continuous improvement and innovation, and to create a competitive advantage for the company. To mitigate risks and improving responsiveness. It involves identifying potential vulnerabilities, developing contingency plans, and diversifying the supplier base. To engage suppliers as strategic partners, leveraging their expertise, and exploring collaborative opportunities. To ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
