We are looking for an enthusiastic **Procurement Specialist** of Siemens Innomotics in CDMX.
- a) Quotation and allocation of services and materials in projects of- according to SIEMENS policies and procedures (purchasing / legal /- compliance)- b) Develop and lead negotiations with local suppliers and- foreigners (consider, delivery time, minimum quantities,- payment terms, etc.)- c) Generate savings, comparative measures and reports saving meaures in a regular way- (Dashboard, RFQ, T.oCo, Sourcing Committee)- d) Attention to internal customer requirements both in the offer as in project execution phase- e) Search and development of new suppliers (registration processes,- evaluations, etc)- f) Place PO'S to global suppliers and data maintenance for materials records.**In your activities you will place orders to meet production requirements for Siemens**
- You will run open order reports to help drive material to support production and will follow Material requirements planning (MRP) messages to push/pull delivery dates of purchased parts
- Expedite material to meet production requirements
- Interface with quality, production, EHS, quality and engineering
Sourcing activities and execution for supply base implementation according to the purchasing strategy
- In sourcing and Outsourcing activities taking always into consideration the requirements & suppliers of other sister Sites in the Americas for synergy proposes.
- Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, International Business, Engineering, Economics, Marketing)- Negotiation skills and Strong problem-solving skills
- Customer Service (driven)
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications
- SAP MM Modules knowledge will be an asset
- Material Management, Project Logistics and Import & Export know-how
- Fluent English is a must
- 3 to 5 years of experience preferred
- Desirable logistics and customs knowledge process for purchased parts
- US VISA for job meetings/trainings.
