**Job Details****What do you do?**Join us in the Procurement Execution Center as a Procurement Team Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the GP PEC Procurement Manager by project managing special projects assignments for the PEC, together with supporting people processes and executing key initiatives that enable our Category Managers and PBU Buyers with an effective execution of our Category Strategies.This role will also execute RFQs, partner with Category Management and perform other PEC critical activities. This role does not have direct reports.**How will you do it?**- Project Manage key initiatives across the Towers (e.G. Lead Times, SBC, EcoVadis) to help drive execution across teams and analysts.- Assist leading the team by taking ownership of meetings, support coaching the team and act as a leader for their Tower.- Configure and execute eRFQ/eAuction events within JCI's preferred eRFQ tool, including initial supplier setup, monitoring the RFQ, receiving and consolidating proposals.- Analyze spend data at a part number level to identify cost reduction, standardization, or simplification opportunities. This will include troubleshooting data gaps and data integrity issues.- Support Market Intelligence activities, Economics measurements, and putting together meaningful reports for different levels of stakeholders.- Support our Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) activities by leveraging Ariba to upload and keep contracts up to date.- Support our Supplier Business Continuity (SBC) by deploying actions such as Financial Assessments, Sustainability Surveys, ensuring contracts are executed, among others.- Deploy relentless root-cause analysis (RRCA) practices to troubleshoot pricing discrepancies between our bills and ERP prices, to reduce waste within the process and build a more effective PO-Invoice-Pay (PTP) process.- Other procurement duties as assigned**Qualifications**:- **+4 years of experience in Procurement **. Experience with Direct Materials categories (Electronics, Electromechanics, Mechanical, Metals) is a plus.- **Deep understanding of RFQ process **- including the steps and requirements to make an RFQ effective and successful.- Demonstrate an analytical mindset and ability for complex problem solving.- Strong MS Excel skills required- Ability to drive continuous improvement, by identifying opportunities, streamlining processes and utilizing Lean/Quality tools to reduce waste and maximize throughput.- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.- APICS or ISM CPSM training or certifications are a plus.- Business/conversational English is a must due to the nature of the role.
