**Responsibilities**:- The Product Strategy & Planning Senior Specialist manages strategic partners across a variety of responsibilities including strategy, ongoing management and operational improvements- This role manages product economics in partnership with marketing by driving clients to low cost redemption options as well as by securing marketing funding from key retailers- Partners with cross functional teams to manage any operational or client service related issues which may arise- Ensures a seamless and frictionless client experience- Conducts market assessments to identify innovation opportunities to enhance the client experience and bring those capabilities to market- Works within the Product Strategy and Planning team and develops a strategic framework to evaluate program offerings and identify key partnership opportunities to drive program engagement (internal and external)- Engages in work that has a direct business impact or provides advice regarding the operations of the business- Organizes and coordinates programs to ensure overall team's accomplishment of financial/budgetary goals- Coordinates program planning for client to ensure identification of appropriate delivery schedules, goals, design criteria, costs and similar considerations- Coordinates product introduction with marketing and sales organizations to ensure maximum penetration of market segment- Provides continuing product surveillance and management of assigned products and categories to attain financial objectives- Engages in activities that require vision and analysis and ability to think beyond the existing solutions, assumptions or current knowledge of sophisticated areas- Develops short-term plans and executes functional strategies requiring coordination and integration across units and provides input into decisions affect Product Strategy and planning function within a region or business- May mentor less experienced team members and new hires**Qualifications**:- 6-10 years of experience- Knowledge of financial services industry- Experience with partnership management, business development, and strategic planning- Complex judgments and solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives- In-depth analysis with interpretive thinking will be required- Applies ingenuity and creativity to problem analysis and resolution for complicated and/or unique situations- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels- Demonstrated ability to develop materials including presentations for senior leadership- Extremely high level of attention to detail- Demonstrated ability to interact and work with senior leaders across the organization Excellent organization skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize within tight deadlines- Ability to work as part of a team, with a high degree of collaboration with cross functional teams- Ability to influence broadly and think outside the box- An influencer who communicates clearly and frequently to both technical analysts and non-technical business leaders- Excellent project management skills**Education**:- Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferredThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
