Plant Controller Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, G/L, Inventory/Cost Accounting and Revenue RecognitionManage month-end closing and prepare monthnancial statements and other operational reporr siteAnalyze variances and communicates explanations to management with recommended actionsPreparecasts of income statement, balance sheets, and statement of caor the PlantMust work across organization boundaries and all levels of the company to achieve plant, country or corporate objectivesIntegrates and trains new staff while leading the continued professional development of the existing teamShares best practices across globnance team, e.G.
process improvementnancial modeling andprocedures changesProvides proactive / unsolicited consultation, interpretation and education of complnancial and operational matters to various departmental leaders used to drive business decisionsCollaborates with General Manager, Plant accountants and senior management to explain results, make improvements, manage projects, identify inefficiencies, understand operations and lead the development of complex analysisMonitor and implement plant internal controls (in conjunction with corporate policies) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risksSupport group governance (internal controlsIFCR compliance)Complete all local audit and tax obligationsAdministrative issues related to the CompanyEstimate product costs to support quoting activities
