Our architects support the Cloud Application Services business by providing architecture leadership and innovation that improve the services we provide to our clients. The primary focus of this role is to be a lead architect supporting the Application Lifecycle Management solution (Polarion) of Siemens Digital Industries Software.As a Product Architect within the CApS team, you will have the opportunity to learn and work with the DISW Lifecycle Collaboration practice team and contribute as a Technical Lead providing support and delivering solutions to our cloud-based customers. Through leading different solution operations and support activities, you will get to expose yourself to understand the system solutions designed based on industries best practices for customers around the world.As part of the Global Delivery Network and Cloud Application Services team, you will work with Consultants, Solution Architects, Project Managers, Implementation Consultants, Industry Experts and Product Development teams to ensure project and customer success.**Roles and Responsibilities**:- Document root cause analysis of issues- Raise IRs- Communicate with users on issues- Co-ordinate with the Implementation team for L3 issues- Provide workarounds to issues- Develop Knowledge Management database for solved issues**Qualifications (include knowledge, skills, abilities, and related work experience)**- Ability to write documentation concisely. Excellent analytical, technical communication, and organizational skills- Contributes to process improvement in Application support and maintenance, providing feedback on the use of processes, systems, and tools in real world situations- Focusses on mentoring others to improve technical delivery & support across the business, proactively sharing knowledge to transfer expertise- Understands common software development principles and lifecycle- Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment- Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills- Should be able to perform root cause analysis and arrive at the right solution**Functional/Technical Requirements (include education, certifications, and training)**- 8-10 years of Polarion Support experience, with at least 3 years supporting a customer Production instance. However, experience with competitive solutions such as Jira, IBM Rational Doors etc
