**Career Area**:Manufacturing & Supply Chain**:**Descri **ption**:To provide expertise in specific engineering areas of the manufacturing and support product and process, to ensure the control of the Reman design, specifications, engineering documents and BOMs.**Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to**:- Manage the accuracy of the different BOMs of the assigned product, providing support to the different teams to make it appropriate it to the Reman process.- Incumbents actively participate in meetings and technical conferences with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Technical Services, NPI, Quality and support Day 1 Defects Initiative, BIQ Sorting Process, etc- The Product change controller analyze and assist guideline from Product Engineers to improve and keep the Reman design as same level than the new.- The Product change controller assists to perform engineering changes through PCN- Adheres to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, etc. in performing assigned duties..**Required Qualifications**:- BS degree in Engineering.- English 60-80% (written, read and spoken).- 2+ years of relevant experience in : Engineering, Project Management, Plans Development, Exhibition with large groups, Focused on Results, Proactive, Teamwork- Knowledgeable and experience of Statistics, Problem Solving Methodologies- Knowledgeable and experience in Metrology / Geometric Tolerances and Reading of Plans- Provides effective communication and services in solving engineering problems or pursuing process / product improvements- Develops, analyzes and manages Engineering Projects.**Desired Qualifications**:- Knowledge of Caterpillar Reman products, especially S&A and Electronics- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.- Project Management advanced skills and Proficient MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).Not ready to apply?
