.**Salary**:$20,000 - $24,000 based on experiencie**Location**:Libramiento Noreste Km 33.5, Colonia Nueva Castilla, General Escobedo, Nuevo Leon 66052 Mexico**Work hours**:7:30am-5:30pm (M-F)**OVERVIEW**Working as Fastenal Mexico's Product Compliance Specialist you will be a strategic link between Fastenal's Global Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Product Development, Customers, and Sales Teams. Your main responsibility will be leading and collaborating with the groups supporting product and supplier compliance needs relative to regulatory and/or customer demands. This individual will report to the Supply Chain Compliance team while helping continue research, create solutions, and enforce compliance throughout Mexico and Latin American supply chain areas. Some key areas supported by this team include: Supply Chain Governance, Chemical Inventory demands, Country of Origin, Shelf Life, NOM Labeling compliance with suppliers, Shipping & Border Restrictions and Maintenance.**RESPONSIBILITIES**- Development & training of the Mexico Supply Chain Compliance team- Work with suppliers and 3rd party resources for product data and compliance- Supporting and evolving interdepartmental correspondence- Enforcing company policy with regards to supply chain compliance- Researching regulations and the applicability to Fastenal Mexico- Writing business impact statements, white papers, and presenting solutions- Maintaing regular communication with Sales, Operations, and Support leadership & teams- Problem solving and project management- Manage data and reporting- Using PeopleSoft, Internet, SmartSheet and Microsoft Office Suite regularly (Power Bi)**REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**- Possess at least 1 year of compliance work experience OR relevant field of study (International Business, Associate's Degree in Business)- Ability to speak fluent Spanish & English- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Smart Sheets and Power Bi- Demonstrate Compliance knowledge.- Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented- Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities- Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills- Demonstrate strong data analytics aptitude- Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency- Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment- Willingness and ability to travel (averaging 1-4 trips/year including US and potential for international locations)- Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork- Possess a valid United States VisaTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $20,000.00 - $24,000
