- Develop production planning and budget for the area in coordination with the Operations Management (weekly and/or monthly).
- Work logically and systematically, always focusing on results.
- Develop KPIs to ensure that production is carried out at the established cost and quality level.
- Ensure on a daily basis that the resources allocated to the operation are aligned with the plan (machinery, tooling, personnel, raw materials, etc.).
- Supervise, attend to, and make detailed adjustments to the production processes and operational personnel, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of quality, performance, and productivity.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively with the work team and support areas.
- Work closely with the materials department to verify and, if necessary, adjust production plans and delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery of the finished product.
- Collaborate with the engineering department on the implementation of new projects, engineering changes, and/or client improvements.
- Suggest and establish process improvements to enhance quality and production capacity.
- Work with Executives and Management to implement company policies and objectives.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources department on personnel development, training, performance evaluations, promotions, retention, and employee termination.
- Organize the training of new employees and/or internal promotions.
- Ensure that the team complies with company policies, standards, and safety regulations.
- Review and evaluate the development and performance of employees.
- Organize, together with the maintenance and/or infrastructure team, necessary repairs and preventive and predictive maintenance for the area in charge.
- Be a solution-oriented coordinator.
- Identify and record issues related to the process to initiate containment actions to prevent the shipment of non-conforming products and initiate or recommend corrective actions, verifying their effectiveness, to satisfy client requirements in terms of quality, service, and delivery time.
