The Role: As a R&D Analyst, you will play a key role in the product development team.
You will be responsible for supporting the creation, development, and launch of innovative supplements and foods.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to conduct market research, develop formulations, ensure regulatory compliance, and participate in product launch activities.
Your focus will be on the technical aspects of product development: nutrition, functionality, and regulatory compliance.

The Candidate: We are looking for a Product Development Analyst who is passionate about food development and has a strong interest in the plant-based products industry.
The ideal candidate has a professional background in food engineering, biotechnology, or a related field.
The successful candidate has at least 2 years of experience in research and development, or alternatively, is a recent graduate with excellent academic and/or extracurricular credentials.

Responsibilities and Activities: - Support all stages of product development, from market research to launch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development of product specifications and formulations.
- Plan and execute tests and evaluations to improve the quality, functionality, taste, and consumer experience of new and existing products.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new ingredients, technologies, and consumer preferences to inform product development.
- Ensure products comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions for the creation of new products and improvements to existing ones.
- Generate and manage technical and regulatory documentation for product development, such as experiments, dossiers, and specification sheets.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in product development, preferably in the supplements and food industry.
- In-depth knowledge of technical and functional principles of food science.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and experience with sensory panels.
- Understanding of principles in nutrition, medicinal, and functional ingredients.
- Expertise in technical food formulation to enhance organoleptic properties, stability, and functionality.
- Familiarity with food industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to work in a dynamic work environment and manage multiple projects with a high level of detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
