.Overview:The **Product Development Manager** will report to the Marketing and Communications Director to support the profitability growth of business by developing and improving effective/strategic financial products with a digital orientation.This role is responsible for the product development team, the market research area & internal communications function.
**Location**: Monterrey, MX**Responsibilities**:- Understand how GMF product and service offerings are differentiated from the competitors- Develop new products/services with a digital orientation in order to provide our customers, differentiated solutions that ensure dealers make easy to do business with us providing to end users (final customers) a memorable experience- Enhance with digital orientation our current finance/leasing products/services portfolio- Partner with GMM: in developing strategic products by providing real time competitive/ market analytics- Work jointly with GMF core areas like Risk, FP&A, Pricing, Sales, Operations and CX, among others to develop commercial and financial profitable products- Support validation routines regarding Product & Commercial Offer uploaded into the Operational Systems- Prepare periodic and ad-hoc analysis for commercial leadership team (e.G By Plan )- Supervising day-to-day operational tasks- Manage special incentive programs and the relationship with the suppliers (e.G joyas)- Responsible for leading the following marketing areas: Communications, Market Research, Product Development & Commercial Offers.Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related areas (Master degree is a plus).- 5+ years minimum in Product Development, Digital Platforms, UX or- Commercial Financial Analysis work related experience.- Product development knowledge is a must (Preferably in digital platforms).- Fluent in English & Spanish (will be evaluated during interviews).- Experience in digital platforms and new development environments.- Experience managing teams- Strong experience in financial product development.- Experience in marketing areas.- Strong customer experience, servicing design process orientation.
**Skills & Knowledge**- Strong analytical and numerical skills.- Strong organizational and time management skills.- Advanced knowledge and use of MS Excel and Access.- Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines.- Open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances.- Fluent interaction with stakeholders in different locations/languages/levels.- Ability to influence others in a highly matrix environment.
