Position Roles and Responsibilities:
**1.
Coordinate Product Design Activities**:
Establish and manage PD timing plan.
Manage PD team
Manage engineering deliverables for VPDDS gate reviews, launch readiness reviews, and VEP audits.
Manage product design.
Manage engineering deliverables for EPG quotes (as required).
Attend/Support Customer meetings.
**2.
Quality**:
Resolution and reporting of product design issues - via 8D or other methods.
Lead the implementation of TQCM.
Lead product development warranty data analysis (as required for Current Model).
**3.
Financial**
Review available project financial data.
Compliance with the development budget within PD by reviewing miss-binned charges and work time with management.
Solicit and implement BOM cost reduction ideas to meet/exceed project financial targets.
Communicate to management when reimbursements are due (parts shipped, services complete) and escalate if not on track.
