Manages production support engineering during and after transfer from design to production. Interfaces with design, process engineering, manufacturing engineering, and quality assurance to solve problems. Sustains products with cost reduction, performance enhancement, and yield improvements.Responsibilities:Supports product electrical and firmware troubleshooting during and after product development and introduction within timeframes.Collaborates with Manufacturing Engineering, Electronic Design Engineering, and PCBA suppliers to perform DFM, DFMEA, PFMEA.Designs and implements in-line testing procedures for product assurance.Acts as the liaison between Manufacturing Engineering and Electrical Design Engineering during new product introduction.Proposes product design and engineering changes to improve performance, solve field issues, or improve manufacturability.Provides support to engineering changes and new electronics components supplier validation.Education:· BS in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.Experience:5 years of experience in electronic design and engineering, including circuits analysis and troubleshooting.Knowledge of firmware programming is a plus (Assembly language, C++, Embedded C, or similar).Hands-on experience in problem-solving for new design and/or field issues of electronics products.
