Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Test Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
The Product Engineer will be based in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Responsible for proper analysis of root cause and implementation of short and long-term corrective actions in order to improve product quality.
What a typical day looks like:
- _ New product introductions (NPI)_
- _ Maintain product configuration_
- _ Load BOM, AVL, specification, and updated all of them when the customer required_
- _ Analysis and implementation of ECO, MCO and PCO_
- _ Generation internal and customer deviation_
- _ Implementation special, controlled, pilots and prototypes run_
- _ Identification of material versus specification and marking components._
- _ Handle product transfer and new product set up._
- _ Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line._
- _ Suggest improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield._
- _ Examine methodologies to maximize debug, integration and verification efficiency._
- _ Solve product related problems and perform failure analysis related to product issues._
- _ Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues - engineering changes, new model development._
- _ Provide training to the debug technicians and develop better understanding of the product._
- _ Work with design team to resolve design related issues._
- _ Participate to cost reduction activities in areas like material, inventory, and scrap reduction._
- _ Suggest modification to work instructions, material or product changes to ensure superior quality of products._
