Product Engineer

Essential Job Functions1. Production support2. Testing, Prototyping and evaluation of new and existing products3. Manage Product Life Cycle Management process for new and existing products4. Support the planning of detailed product development objectives5. Engineering Changes6. Support to manufacturing department, metal stamping and assembly process7. Assist in standardization materials, components, and assemblies8. Provide Customer Service Support9. Perform PM activities10. Continuous improvement teamwork11. Complies with company objectives (metrics): 5 S's, Safety and Compliance12. Complies with assigned training for the development of needed abilities to perform the position13. Participates in programs like 5s, Kaizen and 3i14. Occasionally conduct UL audits15. Know the energy and environmental aspects of your areaSummary of Requirements (Qualifications, Experience, Skills)- Bachelor's degree- 2 -5 years of experience- Successful experience in Product Engineering area. Discipline and pro-active.- May provide general guidance or train lower-level support staff.
