Our people are passionate and qualified; by joining BRP, you will evolve at the heart of an experienced team that will welcome you with open arms.-**GENERAL SUMMARY**:MAJOR PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVESEnsure strong communication with Research & Development (R&D) Team based in Valcourt, Canada.Represent engineering with Operations team.Take decisions & Provide recommendations for actions to be taken when vehicle's non-conformity is found.Eliminate and Reduce turbulence for Line-Up daily production and new Platform Introduction.Influence Operations and R&D teams to design Robust Processes & new Designs.**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:Facilitate communications between Mexico (Operations team) and Canada (Product development team).Approve and recommend deviations on process and parts that complies with design requirements and product durability. Constant communication with R&D team in Canada to handle and follow orientations.Assure product safety, design compliance and regulation conformity on final assembled vehicles.Participate actively into PFMEA sessions and provide Severity of failure modes evaluated.Prepare and support special runs (P3, PR, SOP) to minimize turbulence from an engineering standpoint.Participate actively into R&D Design review and Influence development team to find good design suitable for production reality.**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**:Engineer Degree (Mechanical, Industrial or similar)**Experience**: 5 years or more in manufacturing and/or product developmentStrong communication abilitiesMust speak 90% English, both oral and written. French is an advantageFast learner, Reactive and energic personAbility to lead cross-functional teams through excellent communication and facilitationProficiency in the use of 3D modeling software (3DVIA, Catia)Knowledge in SAP (desired)Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Excellent knowledge in DFA, PFMEA and Poka YokesExcellent knowledge in power sport or automotive design and manufacturing.
