Purpose:
This position is responsible to provide support and perform project activities related with Engineering Change Orders, BOM's in SAP, Correcting BOM errors, summarizing testing data and DVP&R, conducting Tear Down to project samples and report on findings to meet customer's requirements and expectations under the supervision and the mentoring of Lead Acid System Engineers.
Assist as needed in project activities related to the build of engineering samples to measure and sampling components, DUF and WET batteries and processes parameters.
Specific Responsibilities and Deliverables:
- Executes activities related to the design, development, and validation of products.
- Prepare detailed plans to track area performance and assure timely completion and achievement of project goals.
- Support team members on any regional product line projects.
- Report on project progress to management on weekly and monthly bases.
- Participate in Analyzing new designs using DFMEA and risk assessment.
- Coordinates testing and analyzing results.
- Develop fill out engineering deliverables D3
- Design_:
- Participate in D-FMEA development
- Responsible for BOM documentation and release for ED/DV/PV trials
- Development_:
- Plan and follow project sample testing required for AM or OE programs.
- Lead Acid equipment and tool knowledge
- Work in small teams for build execution as necessary
- Validation_:
- Supports engineering product validations required for AM or OE programs.
- Prepare final DVP&R´s

Qualifications:
- BS in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical or Automotive engineering.
- Battery or automotive industries.
- Knowledge in Six Sigma preferred
- Travel expectation is 20 - 40% in Mexico Region other Clarios sites (USA) as necessary
