About the role Product Engineer (NPI) plays a critical role in bridging the gap between design and manufacturing, ensuring that new products are successfully introduced to market with optimal quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and ensure the correct implementation of Compressor NPI projects.Ensure that the products manufactured in Carrier Mexico comply with the specifications established by the design centers. Provide drawings, specifications and perform tolerance analysis.Implement improvement projects and new products through the ECN's process.Master the MRP system (SAP) to verify accuracy of BOM's. Assure the cost of existing units. Ensure the reliability of Bill of Materials or BOM's. Provide technical support to all company departments. Ensure that products comply with the requirements of the following regulatory agencies: UL, NOM, ARI, CSA. Requirements As a minimum you must have: Bachelor's degree IME, IMC, IEA Fluency in English (mandatory) 2-4 years of experience in product engineering, plant support, implementation of engineering changes, reading assembly drawings, electrical diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Ability to interpret drawings and geometric tolerances (GD&T). Experience in dimensional validation. Proficiency in Windchill software. Intermediate knowledge of electrical diagrams (control and power) and refrigeration. Knowledge of product engineering and/or mechanical design.
