The group leverages this understanding of powertrain clutching technology to develop interactive control systems and strategies for all types of torque management.BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for "dynamic, results driven" individual to join Product Engineer at our SLP PDS Plant in Mexico.In this role, and under direct supervision of the Engineering Manager, the Product Engineer sustain and / improve product yield, Quality, Reliability, Safety, Legal and Environmental compliance and responsible to transfer new products.Key Accountabilities- The actual KJEs may include all, some or more of the followings:- Lead production by resolving material problems & software related- Ensure the product meets the customer requirements.- Improve product yield & quality- Support new product / variation / ECO activities- Initiative & drive cost reduction issues- Participate in employee involvement team- Improve customer satisfaction and reduce linepull / warrantly to meet target- Special projects- Modify & debug test software (if applicable)- Ensure all prints meet the revision- Lead in change management process**Qualifications**:- Education: Bachelor/Master Electronics/ Mechatronic Engineering Degree- Experience time in similar position: 5 years in similar position including strong background of electronics, microprocessor, and mechanical assemblies. Experience using GD&T, mechanical assemblies, gear systems. Knowledge of lab tools like digital oscilloscope, curve tracer, simulators is a plus.- Other requirements: Limited networking & exposure to identify the key areas for upgrading (knowledge, process, equipment). Basic knowledge of electronic design, Mentor Graphics, DxDesigner, Altium, others. Communication protocols I2C, SPI, CAN, LIN. Strong ability to read and interpret electronic diagrams.
