Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Business Transfer Manager Switching Products Business A Snapshot of Your Day A typical day for a PLM Transfer Manager can be diverse, involving a range of activities related to overseeing the transfer of product data, processes, and tools between toolsets as well as enabling the organization.
Therefore, your day starts typically with reviewing the agenda, prioritizing tasks, and planning activities for the day usually in form of a scrum meeting.
Here the planning and coordination with the central project team and the local transfer project team is in focus.
Afterwards you might kick-off the migration test day with the test team. Here you review findings of the previous day and give test priorities to the team and coordinate issue resolutions with the central project.
The day continues with the implementation review of local change requests which resulted from previous process analysis workshops with the transfer project.
Your day ends with a report out to the project management team on the transfer activities.
How You'll Make an Impact · You oversee and manage the transfer of processes and data in relation to the Main-PLM system.
· You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, analyze current processes, and identify areas for transfer action.
· You manage the transfer in context of end-to-end PLM processes and toolsets which are required to deliver the product. The transfer also includes user enablement activities and organizational change management.
· You communicate efficient with stakeholders: engineering and manufacturing teams, IT development teams and with management.
· You will facilitate transition workshops with the transfer project where identify need for transfer actions and plan them in alignment with the central and transfer project.
· You ensure seamless integration and data exchange of the PLM system with the local toolsets required to deliver the product.
What You Bring · University studies in computer science, business informatics, mechanical engineering, or comparable education required.
· Minimum 3 years of professional experience in PLM processes, data and tools introduction including organizational change skills.
· Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to change.
· Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and networking skills, including cross-cultural abilities.
· Proficient communication skills in English are required as well as the willingness to travel internationally.
· Knowledge of agile methodologies (SAFe) and PLM systems like Siemens PLM Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Oracle Agile.
· Experience in project management.
