Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a PRODUCT MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATE to join our Ethicon Team located in México City.
The PMA role is critical to shape the ongoing success of the business: developing and executing new strategies and helping to propel us into being an **product management **leader. Some of the essential duties and responsibilities are:
- Accountable for product marketing and strategic planning for assigned products / portfolio
- Work with regional marketing team to plan and execute product development and growth strategies
- Contribute to the development of brand strategies for products, services, and programs including value propositions, segmentation, positioning, and lifecycle management
- Design and drive the go-to-market strategy for entire product portfolio
- Lead new product launch, ensuring market opportunity, product positioning sales message, sales strategy, sales pricing, inventory, and sales promotion
- Lead transactional & strategic pricing activities
- Ensure best in class promotional materials for assigned portfolio
- Remain connected with market needs through frequent interaction with customers and sales representatives, attend industry meetings, review medical journals, etc.
- Partner closely with Sales Teams to gather input on customer needs and ensure strong alignment with marketing strategy
- Build collaborative relationships with surgeon and key opinion leaders to identify unmet customer needs for assigned product categories
- Support Influence and guide sales team members on sales objectives and marketing projects
- Provides technical support to the salesforce to enable effective communication of product messages
- Define product forecast and constantly monitors inventory levels; liaising closely with Supply Chain to ensure that supply timelines are met
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure alignment between demand and supply
- P&L management and budget control of the responsible products
- Manages the A&P budget aligned to the brand & portfolio strategy
- Analyses competitive activities, market research, medical and sales data analytics to determine franchise' potential growth and profitability.
- This position requires limited travel (20% approx.)
**Qualifications**:
- Education: University / Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required
- 5 years of professional relevant commercial experience including sales and/or marketing.
- Experience in marketing and product management / strategy is desirable
- Experience in product launches
- Experience in Medical Devices / Medtech is strongly preferred
- Strong leadership & interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated with ability to direct, lead, and motivate self and others
- Creative thinker, with strong problem-solving abilities
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communicator with effective influencing skills
- Strong analytical & organizational skills
- The ability to collaborate in a cross-functional and virtual team environment is required
- Highly curious with strong customer-centric problem-solving mindset and ability to deliver
