.PayJoy has recently launched E-commerce as a new sales channel. We partner with smartphone e-commerce retailers and integrate PayJoy as a payment method. This new way of financing smartphones entails new challenges for our operating model, compared to partnering with offline retailers.In this newly created role of Product Manager - E-commerce, you will help us find solutions for these challenges, to efficiently scale the E-commerce channel and thus help millions of customers to afford a new phone.ResponsibilitiesStay on top of (smartphone) E-commerce trends, the online Retailer landscape and consumer needs in the D2C consumer electronics / smartphone category.Maintain up-to-date the end-to-end process map for the PJ E-commerce solution.Identify process bottlenecks, risks and manual steps that have the potential to be automated.Scope (automation) solutions through written documents and mock-ups.Identify other potential improvements based on partner (online retailer) and consumer needs as well as feedback from other PJ teams.Work with the Senior Product Manager for E-commerce to prioritize process automations and other improvements for the E-commerce solution, to put them into the engineering squad pipeline.Cooperate with Operations and Customer Service departments in different countries to implement process improvements, including re-design of workstreams and "soft Automations" (e.G. automated reports) that do not need Engineering support.Team up with Accounting and other information / money flow teams to make sure our E-commerce product is correctly reflected in Accounting, Reporting (incl. reports for partners), Invoicing and other information/money flows.Accompany new feature roll-outs, analyze results and engage in the constant iteration of the product and its processes.Support e-commerce implementations with new retail partners, in close cooperation with the Go-to-market team and Engineering.Together with the Consumer Insights team, engage in end-customer research as a basis to improve the e-commerce product and processes.QualificationsUniversity degree in Business Administration, Information systems, Engineering or related field.4-6 years of experience in an E-commerce environment, preferably in a B2C/B2B2C; Startup and/or Big Techexperience preferred; E-commerce payments experience highly valued.Fintech, Consumer Electronics / Smartphone, TelCo category experience valued but not necessary.Experience tackling operational challenges at E-commerce business models, which might include domains like payments, fulfillment, customer acquisition or integration with partners/vendors.Strong process-oriented mindset to identify bottlenecks and improvement potential in complex, multi-stage, multi-party process flows, while balancing efficiency, time-to-implement and UX considerations
