**Responsibilities**:- The Product Strategy & Planning Specialist assists in a comprehensive product marketing cycle which may include identification of market potential, establishing of pricing and market strategies, estimates of potential sales, introduction to market, distribution/channel issues, definition of promotional activities and management of product through phase-out- Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information- Leverages analytical skills and in-depth disciplinary knowledge in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources- Contributes to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function- Has significant impact in terms of project size, or geography by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization- Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual- Assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams and involved in coaching and training of new hires**Qualifications**:- 5-8 years of experience- Knowledge of financial services industry- Knowledge of partner management, business development, and planning- Ability to make judgments and offer solutions based on analytical thought comparing and selecting alternatives- Analytical ability with interpretive thinking will be required- Applies d creativity to problem analysis and resolution for complicated and/or unique situations- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels- Demonstrated ability to develop materials including presentations for senior leadership- Extremely high level of attention to detail- Demonstrated ability to interact and work with leaders across the organization- Excellent project management and organization skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize within tight deadlines- Ability to work as part of a team, with a high degree of collaboration with cross functional teams- Ability to influence and challenge conventional thinking**Education**:- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experienceThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
