Unconflicted and independent, we are reinventing a simpler future for travel's complex ecosystem.**What does a great **Product Owner **do?**Working in collaboration with our Agile SAFe development environment, the Product Owner (PO) role sits within the Product organization and represents the customer on the Agile team. It is the Product Owner's responsibility to ensure the team is focused on the right work and priority and to help the team achieve iteration commitments. The Product Owner will be versed in API technology and represent the needs of the products into the Agile SAFe teams.This position requires extensive collaboration with product managers, other product owners, and other resources across ARTs to ensure consolidation and prioritization across many initiatives and to ensure the Non-Traditional Air Content (NTAC) Platform strategy and standards (e.G. architecture, design, capability, quality) are incorporated into all Air products.**Responsibilities**:- Ensure product delivery success by executing on Product Owner best practices in an Agile SAFe environment:- Part of the Agile team representing the business and user.- Accountable for developing and grooming, with the agile team, user stories from collated requirements by collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to align the product design and development activities to deliver ROI.- Accountable to provide product leadership on product development based on the prioritized backlog by managing the collaboration and co-ordination of the product delivery teams to deliver the required activities to the sufficient quality, time and budget so product enhancements or maintenance is available to wider business and customers/providers.- Synchronize with the Product Manager/s and other Product Owners to ensure new work is brought into the backlog and prioritized appropriately across the ART- Work with System Architect/Engineering to understand, define, and document Enabler work- Work with the development team/s and architecture to implement the user stories including all undocumented edge cases and non-functional requirements (performance, scale, redundancy etc.)- Participate in daily scrum, iteration planning meetings and iteration reviews to ensure product team schedules/tasks reflect the prioritized backlogs. Maintain focus on continually improving performance through lessons learned for the next iteration- Responsible for planning the release cycles in-line with the road map, highlighting key risks and constraints to the release planning process and actively managing them with Product Delivery Team to return value on product changes
