Product Reliability Engineer – Spendscape

Who You'll Work With Spendscape is McKinsey's service line that brings technology and services to our clients to drive spend transparency, spend and cost analytics, and value-capture management.
You'll be working with our global Spendscape team of software, analytics, and procurement experts. You'll be joining a fast-growing team in the procurement arena and delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to clients.
Spendscape infuses best-in-class technology and AI-based analytics with deep supply-market and category-sourcing expertise. You'll be part of a team that is a core element of the digitally enabled procurement function of the future. This will involve all business value chain activities from product development to distribution and playing a strategic role in managing budgets and costs, anticipating, and mitigating supply risk, driving compliance, and generating transparency to external Spend in an organization.

What You'll Do As a Product Reliability Engineer, you'll work closely with the Product Manager, Solution Leaders, and Architects.
Together with our infrastructure team, you will create, deploy, and maintain our SaaS products. You'll be delivering the best possible product and experience to our clients as well as continuously help remove team boundaries (dev, ops, others).

Qualifications Experience on AWS or AzureUnderstanding of infrastructure as code and immutable infrastructureExpertise in Operating system experience: Windows required, Linux as a bonusFamiliar with one configuration management tool (AWX/Ansible/Chef/Puppet)Competent in one common automation language (Python, PowerShell, Bash)Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) required (computer science, engineering, or equivalent area)Experienced with at least one CI/CD tool: CircleCI, GoCD, Jenkins, GitLab and otherUnderstanding of containerization: Kubernetes, Docker, helmExperienced with at least one modern monitoring platformUnderstanding of networking fundamentalsWell-developed communication skillsWell-developed problem-solving abilities
