.As a Product Stewardship Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing procedures to assure awareness and compliance with EH&S and PS requirements of the organization regarding supported processes.Main ResponsibilitiesSupport guidance to the teams to meet regulatory requirements and minimize PPG product liability as it relates to the development, manufacture, sale, and distribution of products.Manage high complexity and associated risks while providing direction to direct & indirect and broader cross-functional organizations (i.E. multiple SBU segments, region, countries, regulations, number/diversity of products, end uses, customer complexity).Identify new issues (such as regulation changes) in the region and develop strategies together with the regulatory compliance function and SBUs to reduce the negative impacts of such changes and, when possible, work with the businesses to create opportunities.Implement the Product Stewardship Management System and assure self-assessments in the region.Be a technical expert and provide direction to less experienced employees.QualificationsBachelor's degree in EHS field, chemistry, engineering, or related science with 6 or more years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in EHS field, chemistry, engineering, or related science with less than 5 years of experience.Knowledge of product stewardship/product compliance is needed.
