.As a Product Stewardship Specialist, you will be. Implementing procedures to assure awareness and compliance with EH&S and PS requirements of the organization about supported processes- ** Main Responsibilities**- Support guidance to the teams to meet regulatory requirements and minimize PPG product liability as it relates to the development, manufacture, sale, and distribution of products.- Manage high complexity and associated risks and providing direction to direct & indirect and broader x-functional organization (i.E. multiple SBU segments, region, countries, regulations, number/diversity of products, end uses, customer complexity).- Identify new issues (such as regulation changes) in the region and develop strategies together with the regulatory compliance function and SBU´s to reduce the negative impacts of such changes and, when possible, works with the businesses to create opportunities.- Implement the Product Stewardship Management System and assure self-assessments in the region.- Be a technical expert and provide direction to less experienced employees.**Qualifications**- Bachelor's degree in EHS field, chemistry, engineering, or related science with 6 or more years of relevant experience or advanced degree in EHS field, chemistry, engineering, or related science with less than 5 years of experience.- Knowledge of product stewardship/product compliance is needed.
