Team and role description:
We are seeking for a Product Strategist (Analyst) to support the growth of our business in Mexico, spanning both retail and institutional clients.
The role will focus on client servicing to Mexican clients.
The Mexico investments platform manages around $25B across fixed income, multi asset, and equity strategies, with exposure to both local and international markets and invested across a suite of 48 mutual funds.
This product offering places BlackRock as one of the leading players in the asset management industry in Mexico.
Job profile:
- Support the Mexico investments platform with collateral creation/maintenance for the commercialization of BlackRock's strategies across fixed income, multi-asset, and equity strategies in Mexico
- Translate several Portfolio Management views and research into clear documents, using well written text and supporting data to help convert clients and advisors - into engaged, educated and confident users of BlackRock's mutual funds and related strategies
- Develop and maintain an understanding of fixed income and equity markets and mechanics, including - among others - both money market and derivatives solutions
- Be a "student of the market" through understanding and knowledge of current market environment, drivers and risks
- Perform analytical and reporting work to support sales and investments teams including creation of presentations, one-pagers, fact sheets, and content for completion of RFPs
- Understand the competitive landscape and develop key points of differentiation for BlackRock
- Drive knowledge transfer through collateral preparation for client calls, webinars, in-person visits, market commentaries and videos
- Partner with Distribution stakeholders to design and drive a broad client investment education program
Qualifications/Skills:
- BA/BS required.
CFA/CAIA, or progress towards, is a plus
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Bloomberg is a plus
- Passion for markets, interest in current events and drivers of financial markets and the economy
- Strong attention to detail and process; Highly professional, organized and committed to excellence
- Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple objectives simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Strong research and writing skills: Ability to clearly articulate sophisticated concepts, ideas, and processes
- Comfort in presentation formats ranging from WebEx to in-person presentations
- Ability to creatively and proactively support client relationship management and capital raising activities in Mexico
- Collaborative approach to tasks

Our hybrid work model
