We are looking for a talented **PRODUCT STRUCTURE ANALYST** to join our team specializing in **MANUFACTURING** for our **CUMMINS POWER SYSTEMS** in **San Luis Potosí, SLP, México**.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure product design alignment with what is loaded into the MRP (Manufacturing Requirements Planning) system.
- Establish the interrelationship of design changes issued in the Engineering Database to translate them into the MRP.
- Analyze engineering changes (MCNs - Manufacturing Change Notices) to confirm the accuracy of MRP parameters.
- Resolve discrepancies in BOMs (Bills of Materials) in the transfer of design changes to the MRP.
- Obtain reports and statistics of parts in use within the MRP system.
- Set parameters, areas, and approval flows for MCNs once released from the Engineering Database.
- Review and adjust routing times for assemblies in the MRP.
- Translate and set process times in the MRP.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Knowledge in Industrial Engineering.
- Knowledge of the process of setting part parameters and engineering changes in Windchill.
- Knowledge of setting part and sub-assembly parameters in Oracle.
- Knowledge of implementing parameters of Engineering changes in the Oracle system through MCNs (Manufacturing Change Requests).
- Knowledge in taking and interpreting process times to establish them in Oracle.
- Knowledge of the financial impact related to the time used in production versus the Oracle system.
**Qualifications**
**Education**
Degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
**Experience**
3 to 5 years.
