MISSIONS
The Product Technical Manager is accountable for the deliverables of R&D to ensure the success of the project.
Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting of R&D activities, with support from metiers.
Empowered by R&D Manager to manage Contributors.

Accountable for the Deliverables:

Apply the specific PDP of his/her PG/PL following CPM (CLEAN Project Management).
In charge of robust design in line with economic targets.
Apply Standardization rules; will request destandardizations based on sound justifications.
Call for all necessary design reviews.
Ensure timely Design Reviews of other networks (Purchase, Industrial).
Represent the R&D function to the customer.
Interface with the customer on R&D subjects of the project, breaking down and cascading customer requests and needs internally.
Report and escalate to the project manager or R&D manager as needed.

Responsible for Detailed Scheduling and Budgeting:

Contribute to identifying needs in terms of resources, equipment, and investments.
Establish a detailed breakdown of activities to meet milestones.
Follow activities and spending within the allowed budget.

Management of Contributors:

Daily management of all R&D contributors, dedicated or not.
Assign work packages as needed.
Regular reviews with R&D manager or Product Manager and Metier Department Managers to check alignment between needs and availabilities.
