OBJECTIVE: Supervises the development and maintenance of the Master Production Plan to maximize productivity and compliance with the requirements of the Client(s) as well as the development of production programs to synchronize the flow of materials through the Plant. Comply with the Master Production Plan through maximizing Productivity levels. PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Supervises the Preparation and Maintenance of Sales Forecast Information, Inventory Goals, to comply with the MRP II logic and the requirements of the Manufacturing System. 2. Controls Work Orders on the Production Floor. 3. Analyze the Master Production Plan to determine the requirements for Direct Personnel and Processes to optimize the Available Capacity of the Plant. 4. Plan, Develop, and Implement improvements to the Production Control System (Manual and Automated). 5. Participate in Inventory Reduction plans. 6. Coordinates with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, Quality, and Maintenance to continuously improve the performance of its Area. 7. Participates in the Introduction of New Products to exchange information on Materials, Programming, and Capacities. 8. Supervises the Personnel in his Area and Assigns tasks to ensure the continuous flow of work as well as Project Compliance. 9. Conducts Performance Evaluations of Subordinates and Recommends Pertinent Development Plans. 10. Develops, Modifies, and Maintains the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the Function Production control. 11. Plans and prepares production programs for the manufacture of industrial or manufacturing products. 12. Control the Production Work Orders. 13. Prepare the Production Program to establish the sequence and time required for each operation to meet Shipping Dates according to Sales Forecasts and Customer Orders. 14. Accelerate the Operations that are delaying the Program and alter the Programs according to unforeseen conditions. 15. Prepare Production Reports. 16. Carry out actions to improve efficiency in production processes.
Experiência y requisitos
- REPORTS TO: Production Manager or Materials Control Manager. - REQUIRED SCHOOLING: Professional Degree (preferably Industrial Engineering) - ENGLISH LEVEL: 4. Advanced (Reading and Writing that allow for fluid Presentations of Projects and/or Participation in Negotiation Processes). - EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: More than 5 Years in Production Control Systems. - COMPUTATIONAL KNOWLEDGE: Intermediate/Basic (Use of Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.) and ERP, MRP Programs.
