Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Production Control Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Materials Manager, Production Control Manager role involves coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule.
What a typical day looks like:
- Scope of this position goes from receiving the clear to build from master planner, to getting the Finish goods produced in time for shipment, having close follow up with manufacturing on production schedule compliance. Includes also the material control in production floor.
- Supervises production control planners, who elaborate the production plan and release and close work orders
- The production control manager is responsible for the inventory accuracy in production floor, and to keep under control KPIs such as work order aging, excess material in production floor, aging material in production floor and total material loss avoidance.
- The individual in this position needs to have strong analytical skills and be able to elaborate root cause analysis and corrective actions related to material loss
- Is also responsible of designing together with engineering, the material flow process including supermarkets, kitting process, points of backflush, and spaces at production floor.
- Strong leadership skills are needed with both direct and indirect labor.
- Notifies Materials and Program Management of material situation that affect the attainment of the production plan.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.
- Fluent English.
- Previous experience in similar position.
- Previous experience in Electronic: SMT & Box Build.
- Leadership skills.
- Demonstrates advanced functional and technical skills and basic people and/or process management skills.
- Demonstrates advanced/ thorough knowledge of the function and Flex business.
- Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.
- Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
- Demonstrates expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of Flex and related business.
- Demonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/ technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas; understands the strategic impact of the function across sites.
- Excel: Power BI, VBA, SQL is also a plus.
