This position is responsible for overseeing team members under general direction from their coach. Their duties vary outside of their current roles, such as coordinating work schedules, cross training, trouble shooting, and other responsibilities directed from management.
- Coordinates team members with objectives/task for the shift in assigned area. - Effectively communicate clear instructions, process, and information to team members. - Monitor and report progress to coach of day-to-day operations. - Create and distribute reports to update the company on the team's progress. - Reassign team members as needed to balance workflow. - Cross trains team members. - Resolve minor work issues affecting current production. - Monitor and ensures quality of products/processes conform to LZB specifications/standards. - Conduct audits as needed. - Works on or completes additional tasks as assigned by supervisor. - Monitor and ensure team members are performing their responsibilities according to the training. - Provide support and mentoring for new and current team members while training. - Follow health and safety standards and provides safety guidance to the team
Experiência y requisitos
- Bacherlor´s degree in Engineering or related
- Knowledge in time and motion studies, SOP and VSWI generation.
- Advanced Excel/Outlook
- Experience in têxtile cutting processes
- At last 10 years of experience as a leader
- Highly effective in in house production systems and Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Demonstrates teamwork and motivation.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
