**Responsibilities**:- Responsible for meeting all production requirements and achieving them with the required levels of quality, efficiency, and time.- Responsible for keeping all personnel in your area working on the J.I.T.- Supervise the staff in charge of maintaining a good work environment and safety in it.- Keep the machinery and equipment assigned to their area in good condition.- Responsible for working according to the company's documentation system and getting people in charge to do it MOPS, QSTD, AMT, CHANGE-OVER.- Responsible for all staff to be properly trained and certified, both in the employee's own operation as well as in the subsequent operation. (one up, one down).- Control/Reduction of Scrap and PPM's.- Control and maintenance of Kanban, WIP, 5S's, JIT, SPC.- Develop a training plan for production coordinators, to ensure and maintain production development levels, quality and efficiency.- Make decisions in situations that do not have support from the immediate boss.- Follow-up in the solution of problems related to support departments.- Maintain an environment where discipline prevails**Scope & Authority:Ensure compliance with established goals, making adjustments that involve guaranteeing production numbers, always taking care of quality, safety, and correct administration of resources.**Basic requirements**:- Industrial engineering or equivalent in experience (3 years minimum).- Ability to manage personnel and supervision- Ability to plan and organize in the short and medium term.- Working under pressure- .Ability to make decisions- Basic knowledge of: JIT, KANBAN, 5s'S, SPC, DOE, FMEA, POKA YOKE- Leadership Skill- Team work- Knowledge of ISO 9000, Lean Manufacturing, Preventive Maintenance**Desirable requirements**:- English- Six sigma certification
