**Responsibilities**:
- Health and Property Safety, guaranteeing the integrity of personnel, equipment and facilities, reporting substandard conditions - Being a driver and agent of change in the site's safety and environmental culture, promoting significant improvements.
- Follow established engineering principles to determine the best sequence of the production process, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and health policies, exceeding the organization's quality and cost standards. Analyze product specifications, process and operating conditions, supporting the development of new products and process improvements together with the engineering team.
- Define security protocols, active monitoring of ZIM Tracker, identify and analyze problems in production and equipment, develop analysis of RCA, HF, 5S, Lean Manufacturing seeking continuous improvement. Ensure the development and updating of process conditions, work instructions and control plan. Analyze current process conditions issuance of safety and ergonomic improvements (safety positive)
- Attend seminars, courses, actively participate in CoK (communities of knowledge) to ensure growth and best practices and their implementation on the site.
- Interact with all areas supporting the manufacturing process and exercise influential leadership in solving extrusion line problems.
- DETAILED ACTIVITIES- Comply with legal requirements, safety, environmental, health and property security policies and procedures. Promote and ensure the execution of ESH programs and projects applicable to the Manufacturing area.
- Ensure and promote the cleanliness and order of work areas (housekeeping) to guarantee safety, good performance and conservation of work areas and implements.
- Establish security procedures and protocols that consider the needs of collaborators. Identify, report, document and propose improvements for unsafe work conditions.
- Supervise the manufacturing process, ensuring quality operation and product, always safely and efficiently. Support the daily operation by monitoring the Daily Operations Meeting, material and equipment requirements.
- Review daily production vs key indicators (Yield, Volume, Rate) and plant capacity. Analyze deviations and propose recommendations to operate effectively and efficiently, with the best cost and quality. Develop requisitions, notifications, work orders, as required.

EXPERIENCE:
- Similar Position in Manufacturing, Extrusion and/or Plastics Companies, Knowledge of production and maintenance processes. - 5 years of experience
SPECIFIC COMPETENCES:
- Safety and Quality Standards (ISO 9001- IATF 16949- ISO 14001)
- Extrusion Process
- Office, Statistical Software, SAP, PI, DCS (Delta V is preferred), SPC
- Lean MFG or Six Sigma.
- Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Continuous Improvement Tools (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Poka Yoke, RCA, Human Factors, Visual Factory, etc.)
