Job Description SummaryProduction Leader is in charge of the entire production process for our company's set of products. They organize and recommend strategies to ensure that the product is developed successfully, in accordance with all specifications. They supervise teams that work in operations and product development.Supervise and follow up on the production plan for the company operations of numerical control machines and NON-CNC operations such as washing, CMM, and manual measurements for the aerospace industry. Provide and follow up on the necessary tools, gauges, documentation, and materials to CNC operators and CNC technicians. Help achieve compliance with quality, safety, equipment, autonomous maintenance, and supplies standards. Ensure compliance with and enforcement of the code of ethics and respect for the Quality Policy, Health and Safety standards, and Quality Management System.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesSupervise machines according to process sheets, work instructions, or any other requirement (customer specifications, engineering drawings, etc.).Verify autonomous maintenance, complying with the instructions in the TPM documentation and 5S practices.Ensure all manufacturing documentation is available and provide it if needed (traveling sheets, first inspection items, etc.) to manufacture products that meet quality requirements. Inspect and verify the work before sending it for inspection if it is not conforming to the process through material procedures.Document actions, completing production and quality records.Generate production reports.Revise everything related to payroll for CNC operators, CNC Technicians, and Special Process Technicians' attendance.Update work knowledge by participating in training.Request training for CNC operators, CNC Technicians, and Special Process Technicians if necessary.Verify the correct chip collection room.Meet ATEM objectives by accepting achievements and requesting new needs.Generate savings projects.Attend SFM meetings.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering.5+ years of experience in a similar position.Advanced English proficiency.CNC Machining Background.Knowledge of GD&T.Desired CharacteristicsExperience in turning and milling; airfoil milling is desirable.Aerospace background.Able to handle people and manage conflict.Knowledge of Health and Safety OSHA regulations.Experience with operation and handling of cranes and hoists is preferred.Proficient in Microsoft tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.Preferred experience with MRP systems, especially SAP.#J-18808-Ljbffr
