.Eaton's VEH NAT North America Truck division is currently seeking a Production Line Manager.
**What you'll do**:1.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:Driving strategic direction of the business and ensuring achievement of operating and production objectives consistent with quality assurance requirements and customer, optimizing the utilization of the workforce to minimize manufacturing costs.A.
Participates as a key member of plant manager's staff in all critical decisions impacting facility.2.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:A.
Develop and implement programs to utilize the elements of EBS to achieve strategic goals and profit plan objectives of the plant.B.
Manage processes, material, and personnel to ensure that finished material is shipped according to schedules.
This includes internal and external customers.C.

Maintain equipment and machines to optimize production output.E.
Establish and maintain budgets, manpower and equipment requirements to support the needs of the customer both internally and externally.F.
Provide leadership that will enable subordinate personnel to develop and deploy the EBS toolbox: Eaton Lean System, Six Sigma, and Pro-launch.G.
Ensure that systems and operations are compliant with prescribed quality system requirements and identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Define root causes to scrap and rework and develop permanent corrective action to reduce or eliminate.H.
Manage processes, material, and personnel to ensure that finished material is shipped according to schedules.
This includes internal and external customers.I.
Create and implement material schedules to support subsequent manufacturing needs as well as assembly and service requirements.K.
Promotes the company's vision by actively supporting Eaton's ethics and aspirational goals as well as quality policies.L.
Motivate and coach employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results.LI-SL4**Qualifications**:SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE..A.
Industrial Engineering degree or related fields required.B.
7 - 10 years experience in a management position within a manufacturing environment (preferably automotive)C. English - language capability, speaking, reading & writing requiredE.
Broad financial knowledge for asset management, budgeting, and profit plan obtainment.F.
Knowledge of behavioral science, including the ability to motivate, counsel, and constructively deal with people at all levels.G.
Strong leadership skills, must be capable of leading their organization on a continuous journey of sustained improvement.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.A.
