Responsibilities:Defines in conjunction with Management the policies and strategy for the company's production activities within the guidelines set by the plant in accordance with the business goals.Establishes contingency plans and actions to mitigate impacts when there are variations to raw materials, machinery, labor and/or customer requirements.Directs activities required by production to supply the sales indicator and material flow.Establishes in conjunction with plant manager the objectives of annual budget for his/her management.Coordinates and ensures cost effective product flow, through compliance with the production system and meeting the results according to Forecast.Maintains constant relationship with Material, logistics, quality and product development areas to ensure product delivery according to internal and external customer requirements.Plans, coordinates, directs and controls production operations.Establishes and ensures compliance with policies, procedures and internal controls for activities related to their management in different areas of the company.Establishes analyses management indicators for the area and formulates strategies in accordance with industry best practices.Receives, responds to and implements changes approved as a result of audits.Coordinates the necessary training to personnel for new projects, programs and/or improvements.Participates in the development of new projects.Ensures adequate files and/or records of management activities.Monitors compliance with policies, procedures and internal controls (Technical, operational and safety related) for the company's production activities.Coordinates the development and process documentation, system development and maintenance.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree related to manufacturing; Master degree or MBA preferred.More than 5 years of experience in furniture industries.Bilingual in English/Spanish.Valid visa.Familiar with Lean Manufacturing projects.Accountability for turnover and absenteeism.#J-18808-Ljbffr
