Job Description The Production Manager is responsible for effectively managing human and material resources to meet the production schedule, while addressing any contingencies that arise.
This role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing production activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, timelines, and operational efficiency.
The Production Manager will also develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements Key Responsibilities: Execute the production plan in compliance with regulations, ensuring product quality and plant efficiency.
Monitor production indicators and develop action plans to address deviations and improve quality and service levels.
Collaborate with the planning team to create an efficient production program.
Prepare and manage the department's budget to optimize costs.
Identify and implement improvement opportunities to enhance production efficiency.
Enforce compliance with safety, environmental, and GMP standards.
Review and approve manufacturing procedures to standardize plant activities.
Participate in safety, environmental, and GMP committee meetings to execute required actions.
Evaluate new product developments to ensure successful project execution.
Lead and develop the production team, fostering a culture of motivation, high performance, and alignment with organizational values.
Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mandatory).
Languages: Fluency in English is preferred.
Competencies: Strong knowledge of Integrated Management Systems.
Understanding of GMP and food safety.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
Proficiency in production planning and logistics.
Excellent leadership, strategic vision, and communication skills.
Work Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in a production or manufacturing management role, with proven experience managing multiple teams and implementing operational improvements.
Required Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
Proficiency in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards.
Strong background in Lean Manufacturing principles.
Expertise in production planning and logistics.
Conflict management and resolution skills.
Strategic vision and planning capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills.
Customer-focused mindset with demonstrated leadership abilities.
Ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
Fluency in English (preferred).

Working Conditions: This role may require occasional travel to various company locations or partner organizations.

The position may involve occasional extended work hours during critical project phases.
