.Flex is the diversified manufacturing partner of choice that helps market-leading brands design, build and deliver innovative products that improve the world.We believe in the power of diversity and inclusion and cultivate a workplace culture of belonging that views uniqueness as a competitive edge and builds a community that enables our people to push the limits of innovation to make great products that create value and improve people's lives.Job Summary- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a _Production Manager_ located in Guadalajara, North Campus._- Reporting to the Operations Director, Production Manager role involves guidance and coordinate activities of employees engaged in the following areas of a manufacturing department; multi-level assembly, electronic card/system testing and quality assurance to attain production goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements._What a typical day looks like:- _ Guide department activities to hold up design of new products, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and helps on test procedures._- _ Execute and provide input to functional plans and objectives for the site._- _ Create functional processes or technologies_- _ Explore technology trends and market demand to plan projects._- _ Contribute with management, production, and marketing staff to resolve manufacturing feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products._- _ Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests._- _ Partners with team and management in the development of the strategic plan and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the function._- _ Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements._- _ Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order to meet customer requirements._- _ Coordinates production activities with other functional groups such as planning and distribution._- _ Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function._- _ Accountable for controlling manufacturing operation and ensuring that production quality and cost targets are met._- _ Working in extremely complex problems where the research of situations or data from an evaluation of intangible factors._- _ Reviews budgets and schedules required by management_- _ Regulate relations with the executives and/or major customers to maintain relationships with them._- _ Resolve controversial situations, customer negotiations, or influencing and persuading management levels for the achievements of the plant._The experience we're looking to add to our team:- _BA/BS or equivalent work experience._- _NPI experience_- _Advanced english_- _Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment._- _Product Engineering experience within electronical components
